The mini series Wo Meng Long De Xia Ji A (My Hazy Summer), selected as part of the National Radio and Television Administration's "Travel with Mini Series" creation plan (fourth batch), is set to premiere exclusively on Hongguo Short Drama on November 15. Set in the ancient village of Xidi in Yixian County, Anhui, the series presents a summer love story centered on healing, growth, and self-redemption. It delicately portrays a woman's journey of self-reconstruction in the face of adversity, capturing the quiet blossoming of genuine emotions during the hazy summer. The story incorporates local elements, including homestay operations, Hui-style architecture, and intangible cultural heritage of bamboo carving. Through the protagonist's perspective, it weaves Huizhou's unique architectural aesthetics, tranquil pace of rural pace, and its profound cultural heritage into the narrative, offering audiences an immersive visual and emotional journey through the mist-covered landscapes of Huizhou.
Travel to Qian Lake with Mini Series: Dongqian Lake's First Cultural Tourism Mini Series Launches
Recently, the "2025 Yinzhou District Song Dynasty Charm Culture Season and Song Charm Qian Lake Cultural Tourism Life Season" kicked off along the shores of Dongqian Lake. Under the theme of "Revitalizing Historical Context, Innovating Cultural Heritage," the event not only created the new cultural tourism IP "Follow Mini Series to Travel Qian Lake," but also breathed new life into the millennium-old Song Dynasty through innovative formats, including immersive real-scene performances. At the opening ceremony, Dongqian Lake's first cultural tourism mini series, Qian Hu Ling Zhu (Holy Pearl of Qian Lake), was officially released online. The first season, consisting of 22 episodes, follows the storyline of the female lead, Ye Mingxiu, as she "time-travels" to the Song Dynasty-era Qian Lake. On November 15, Yi Yao Wei Ming (In the Name of Medicine), the first cultural tourism mini series of Jiangbei District, Ningbo, began filming in Cicheng Town, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. A collaborative production by the Jiangbei District Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau and Cicheng Town, the series revolves around three characters: Gu Nian'en, born into a family of medical practitioners; Feng Zhixi, the daughter of a county magistrate; and Qin Henian, a renowned doctor. From conflict to mutual understanding, they use a market-town farce to uncover the true essence of a healer's benevolence and explore the clash between commercial greed and folk wisdom. The series combines elements of period costumes drama, suspense, and light comedy. Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area's first hard science-fiction AI animated mini series, Ji Xie Long Ji: Mo Ri Fan Ji (Machina Dragon Princess: Doomsday Counterattack), recently held its inaugural filming ceremony in Shunde, Foshan, Guangdong. As an S-plus-level AI-animated mini series project independently produced by Juyan AIGC, the series blends futuristic science-fiction elements with the narrative format of mini series. It tells the story of humans fighting for survival against an AI "Queen Mother" in a world shattered by doomsday.
The project uses a brand-new AI animation production pipeline and features a high-concept setting, fast pace, strong conflicts, and striking visual impact, perfectly matching the aesthetic preferences of Generation Z audiences.

The "New Generation of the Era·Youthful Chapters" red-themed mini series (script) collection campaign, organized by the Hebei Provincial Radio and Television Administration, officially kicked off on November 7. The event aims to encourage creators to use mini series as a medium to explore innovative narrative and forms of expression, and to produce a series of red-themed works that combine ideological depth, artistic quality, and emotional resonance. These works seek to tell heroic stories from the Land of Yan and Zhao and carry forward the revolutionary spirit. The submission deadline is February 15, 2026, and the final selection will include 30 outstanding scripts and 10 excellent works.
