Adapted from Qiong Yao's Classic Novel, Mini Series Huan Zhu (Returning Pearl) Set for November 7 Release
On October 30, the mini series Huan Zhu, adapted from Qiong Yao's classic novel, was announced for release on November 7. The series boldly innovates with a "time travel + book transmigration" premise, starring Hu Lianxin and Luo Yizhou. It follows the story of the popular actress Lin Suisui (played by Hu Lianxin), who, while adapting a script, unexpectedly transmigrates into the world of Huan Zhu Ge Ge (My Fairy Princess), and finds herself as a marginalized maid in the laundry bureau. In this world, her lifespan is determined by the number of lines she speaks—the fewer her lines, the closer she comes to death. At the same time, she must safeguard the original plot of My Fairy Princess while unknowingly forming a deep connection with Jing Yuan, an official from the Punishments Department. Unlike the original work, this adaptation shifts classic characters like Xiao Yanzi and Ziwei to supporting roles, while introducing new characters such as Lin Suisui and Jing Yuan.

On November 2, the high-quality mini series Ji Dong Zu (Police Tactical Unit) premiered exclusively on Tencent Video. On October 31, the inaugural filming ceremony for the mini series Jing Hao 025881 (Police Badge 025881) was held in Wuhan. The crew has completed early location shooting in Wuhan and is expected to wrap production by the end of November. The series is scheduled to premiere on major short drama platforms across China before the Spring Festival. Jing Hao 025881 is adapted from a report published in Zhiyin magazine. It tells the heroic story of Qiu Jianjun, a police officer from the Wuhan Public Security Bureau. The series is jointly produced by Hubei Zhiyin Media Group and the Wuhan Public Security Bureau, with executive production by Nanjing Huasuchi Cultural Media Co., Ltd.In the early hours of June 1, 2024, Qiu Jianjun, deputy chief of the Hanxing Police Station under the Jianghan Branch of the Wuhan Public Security Bureau, responded to an incident involving an assailant with a knife. To protect nearby civilians and his fellow officers, Qiu was stabbed 15 times but still chased the suspect with all his strength. He fought bravely until the end and sacrificed his life at the age of 50.
