On July 22, an advance screening of the mini series Revival of the Painted Legacy was held in Beijing. Co-produced by China Media Group's Yangshipin and Hongguo Mini Series, the series officially premieres on July 23 on both the Yangshipin app and the Hongguo Mini Series app.

Revival of the Painted Legacy focuses the lens on the mysterious world of ancient painting restoration, inviting viewers on an immersive journey into this intricate craft. The series centers on the tension and collaboration between folk restorer Wu Molin and imperial court restoration official Liu Dingzhi, while portraying the transmission and preservation of traditional restoration techniques. The story opens with the enigmatic restoration of the national treasure painting A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains, weaving together ancient art appraisal, restoration techniques, puzzles, and treasure-hunting adventures into a vivid narrative of cultural inheritance.
