The 2025 Mini Series Global Outreach & Branding Conference, themed "Openness, Connectivity, and Empowerment," is being held at Shanghai Oriental Intelligent Media City from June 26 to 27. The summit convenes experts, scholars, and industry leaders in the mini series field from across the globe to explore core topics under the National Radio and Television Administration's "Mini Series+" Action Plan. Discussions focus on distribution, investment, business models, copyright governance, legal compliance, and other pivotal issues shaping the sector's global development.
Zhu Yannan, Director of the Development Research Center of the National Radio and Television Administration, said: “Chinese mini series going global should not only integrate Chinese and international cultural perspectives in their thematic orientation, but also uphold standards of cultural expression that resonate with both domestic and global audiences”.
