On November 8th, amidst the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE), the Shanghai Media Group (SMG) 2025 Business Innovation Cooperation Conference kicked off in Shanghai. Oriental Media City, a significant cultural industry project of the SMG, riding the wave of this year's CIIE theme, "New Era, Shared Future," officially launched its Overseas Center, bringing new vitality to the micro-series and associated industry chains. As a key collaborator with Oriental Media City, CRI Online attended the conference to witness the launch of this platform and will leverage its media resources to robustly support the business growth of the Oriental Media City Overseas Center.

The Oriental Media City Overseas Center, showcased at this year's CIIE, is located within the park itself and is dedicated to creating industry sensations with compelling content and strong traffic by establishing a robust system for the international production and distribution of micro-series. It has joined forces with CRI Online, the SMG International, WingsMedia, and Chinese For You. Together, they utilize a professional multilingual editorial and translation team, as well as various communication channels, including websites and major global social media platforms. With extensive experience in overseas production, operations, and the micro-series business, they offer a comprehensive suite of promotional resources across the industry's entire value chain. Furthermore, Baidu, iFlytek, the Film School of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, and the Shanghai Internet Audio-Visual Association will provide business support in areas such as AIGC and talent exchange, further enhancing the center's capabilities.

At the CIIE, CRI Online's micro-series channel, PANDA SHORTS, made a dynamic debut, and the trailer of DinoRealm was introduced to viewers. DinoRealm marks CRI Online's inaugural self-produced micro-series for international audiences, with segments enhanced by AI production techniques to offer a novel viewing experience. The series will be released globally in Chinese and English, positioning itself as a vibrant ambassador for Chinese micro-series on the world stage.
